Mrs.McMahon’s Kindergarten Fall Fest
October 18, 2012 6:00 PM

Mrs. McMahon’s Class participated in her 23rd annual Kindergarten Fall Fest in front of over 50 guests.
The students performed various fall and Halloween songs, finger plays, and stories for their audience.  Each child was assigned a part and wore a costume for the evening performance.
The classroom was decorated in a variety of holiday art projects to set the mood for the show. After the performance the cast and guests enjoyed snacks that the kindergarten families provided.

Jefferson staff created a festive atmosphere throughout the day by dressing up for Halloween 2012.  This year's theme was "Super Hero."  The teachers and staff received numerous compliments from parents and students alike on the cohesiveness and creativity of the costumes.  The students definitely benefit from the enthusiasm and cheerfulness of the staff at Jefferson Elementary.

Officer Quadraro

Students in Reagan Middle School’s eighth grade Social Studies classes are currently studying government. During the course of this unit students learn about state and federal governments. In this particular exercise, students are focused on the 4th and 5th Amendment. Officer Quadraro can be seen leading the class through a question and answer session. This is the second year the eighth grade Social Studies department has worked with Officer Quadraro in the classroom during this unit. The Social Studies department hopes that bringing in an officer can show students how the laws they learn about in class are applied to real life situations.
